Liberia Massacre Survivors Asso. Calls on Gov., Nat’l Legislature to Pass Bill Seeking War and Economic Crimes Court Establishment

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Liberia Massacre Survivors Association (LIMASA) is urgently calling on the government and the National Legislature to pass the bill seeking to establish the War and Economic Crimes Court.

The organization has set May 14 this year as the deadline for the passage of the bill, but dispelled the statement as a threat.

LIMASA, in a release, said it is a unified voice seeking justice for atrocities inflicted upon them, including the loss of loved ones and properties, among others.

It said playing politics with such a delicate issue dishonors pain and betrays Liberia’s commitment to accountability and national healing.
