Civil Service Agency Sets June 2 Deadline for Signing Mandatory Non-Disclosure Agreement

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Civil Service Agency (CSA) has set June 2, this year, as the deadline for all Civil Servants to sign a mandatory Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) through their Human Resource Departments.

CSA Director General Dr. Josiah Joekai warned that failure to comply could lead to removal from the national payroll.

Addressing the Information Ministry’s regular Press Briefing on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, in Monrovia, Dr. Joekai said,” The NDA will safeguard sensitive data and improve professionalism across public institutions.

The CSA boss added that the NDA aligns with Liberian laws and international standards, aiming to strengthen accountability and protect the government’s information.

He clarified that the policy does not restrict free speech; instead, it ensures proper procedures are followed when handling official information.
