Pres. Boakai Returns Home from Ethiopia on Two-Day State Visit

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-President Joseph Boakai has returned home, following a two-day state visit to Ethiopia.

The Liberian Leader and Delegation arrived on Thursday, April 16, 2026, via the Roberts International Airport in Lower Margibi County.

During the visit, President Boakai and his Ethiopian counterpart, Abiy Ahmed, held strategic discussions aimed at strengthening cooperation in Artificial Intelligence (AI), Science, Technology, and Education.

President Boakai also engaged in a series of official activities, reflecting the depth of Liberia-Ethiopia relations.

The Liberian Leader’s visit highlights Liberia’s efforts aimed at fostering strategic international partnerships that promote innovative capacity building and sustainable development.
