MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Ministry of Public Works has announced progress on the construction of the two overpass bridges along the Congo Town-SKD Boulevard intersection.

The updates were provided by Acting Public Works Minister, Prince Tamba, during a news conference on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, in Monrovia.

Minister Tamba reported a hundred percent completion of pile foundations on the construction sites of the ongoing projects.

According to him, the overpass bridges, when completed, will ease traffic congestion and improve the free movement of goods and services.

The construction works, which began in September of last year, are being fully funded by the Chinese Government, following sustained bilateral engagements between the two countries.
