Pres. Boakai Arrives in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, on Two-Day State Visit

MONROVIA, Liberia-President Joseph Boakai has arrived in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, ahead of a two-day state visit to that country.

President Boakai’s visit followed an official invitation from his Ethiopian Prime Minister, Abiy Ahmed.

The visit aims to provide an opportunity for high-level discussions on bilateral, regional, and international matters of mutual interest.

An Executive Mansion release also disclosed that the meeting will further strengthen the longstanding bilateral relations between Liberia and Ethiopia in key thematic areas.

According to the release, President Boakai is expected to hold strategic discussions with Prime Minister Abiy and other senior Ethiopian officials, focusing on deepening cooperation across key sectors.

Members of the President’s delegation include Foreign Minister Sara Beysolow-Nyanti, Daniel Sando, Deputy Information Minister for Public Affairs, and the President of the University of Liberia, Layli Marpayan, among others.
