Ministry of Education Intensifies Discussions with UNESCO…

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Ministry of Education has heightened discussions with UNESCO to increase the organization’s support to Liberia’s education sector.

Education Minister, Dr. Jarso Jallah, continued the discussion when she recently held a conversation with UNESCO Director General, Khaled El-Enany, and other senior Advisors at the organization’s headquarters in Paris, France.

According to Minister Jallah, the engagements matter because they help shape how priorities are carried into practice.

Minister Jallah said,” Progress depends not only on policy, but on how well systems respond to the realities students face every day”.

The Minister, on behalf of Liberia, assured her UNESCO partners that the Liberian Government’s task is to ensure that the partnership translates into real change in classrooms.
