Pres. Boakai Departs Liberia for State Visit to Ethiopia

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-President Joseph Boakai has departed Liberia for a two-working day state visit to Ethiopia.

President Boakai’s visit followed an official invitation from Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed.

The visit aims to provide an opportunity for high-level discussions on bilateral, regional, and international matters of mutual interest.

An Executive Mansion release also disclosed that the meeting will further strengthen the longstanding bilateral relations between Liberia and Ethiopia in key thematic areas.

According to the release, President Boakai is expected to hold strategic discussions with Prime Minister Ably and other Senior Ethiopian officials, focusing on deepening cooperation across key sectors.

Members of the President’s delegation include Foreign Minister Sara Beysolow-Nyanti, Deputy Information Minister for Press and Public Affairs, Daniel Samdo, and the President of the University of Liberia, Layli Marpayan, among others.
