Pres. Boakai Calls for Sustainable Investments in Liberia

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-President Joseph Boakai has called for more sustainable investments in Liberia.

The Liberian Leader maintained that his administration will continue to create an environment for foreign investments to thrive.

President Boakai urged foreign investors in Liberia to leverage the country’s rich investment potential.

He made the statement on Friday, April 10, 2026, when he dedicated and opened the Monrovia Super Mall in Oldest Congo Town.

The Liberian Leader noted that the dedicatory ceremony marks a significant step towards economic growth, modern commerce, and improved shopping experience for the Liberian people.

At the same time, President Boakai, on Friday, joined citizens across the country to commemorate National Fast and Prayer Day.

The annual event is set aside for supplication, prayer, and fasting so that the nation’s efforts may be crowned with great achievements.

At a special worship service at the Liberia Baptist Theological Seminary campus in Paynesville City, the Liberian Leader cautioned Liberians to remain appreciative of God’s blessings and protection upon the nation and people.

President Boakai said,” It is through God’s guidance that Liberia, despite its turbulent past, continues to thrive”.

The Liberian Leader called on citizens to continuously reflect on the mercy and divine intervention of God in their daily lives.

President Joseph Boakai recognized the contributions of the religious community toward Liberia’s peace, growth, and stability over the years.
