MONROVIA, LIBERIA-President Joseph Boakai has honored fallen former Liberian Presidents in observance of Decoration Day.
The Day is in alignment with an Act of the National Legislature passed on October 24, 1916, declaring the 2nd Wednesday in March of each year as Decoration Day.
As part of the Day’s activities, President Boakai laid a wreath on the grave of former President William VS Tubman in Central Monrovia.
The Liberian Leader, following the exercise, admonished citizens to continue paying homage to fallen heroes and loved ones, whose contributions to national growth remain undeniable.
