The Local Football House has slapped several players and individuals with four months of suspension and heavy fines.
The LFA says the players were handed the suspensions and fines after they were found guilty of carrying out violent conduct during recent LFA league matches in the 1st division and the Women’s Upper League.

Amongst those suspended and handed fifty thousand liberian dollar fine each is FC Fassell Gambian Goalkeeper Ahmed Savage, who recently won the LFA best goalkeeper award.
Ibrahim Coulibaly, also of FC Fassell, was suspended for four months and fined fifty thousand Liberian dollars.
Bea Mountain FC players Benjamin Doe and Success Wilson were also suspended for four months and fined fifth thousand liberian dollar each for violation of professional conduct during their 1st division league match against Fassell at the Gompa stadium last weekend.
Players and other staff of FC Fassell and Bea Mountain were seen fighting during their league match, which Bea Mountain went on to win 1-0.
Other suspended and fined are Earth Angels duo Christiana Jappah and Olet Obey.
Bushrod Queens’ head coach, Watchin Harmon, was suspended and fined along with several of the Queens’ players.
Filicity Asante, Nailea Boima, Odell Togbah, Fatima Gboah, Gifty Gboah, and the Queens’ medic, Veronica Johnson, are the rest of the affected individuals.
At the same time, the LFA has suspended class C referee Sylvester Sayon for three months for unprofessional behavior he exhibited at the end of a 3rd division match in the Grand Bassa County LFA sub-association league at the Doris William Stadium.
The LFA has warned the players, coach and referee are to stay away from football activities while serving their suspensions.
