Civil Service Agency Sets March 12 Deadline for Employee’s Transfer to Traffic Management Incorporated

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Civil Service Agency (CSA) has given March 12, this year, as the deadline for any employee’s transfer to the Liberia Traffic Management Incorporated (LTMI).

The Director General of the CSA, Dr. Josiah Joekai, said,” After the deadline, no employee will have the opportunity to transfer to the LTMI”.

Dr. Joekai stated the Government of Liberia intends to provide an opportunity for employees at the Ministry of Transport to take employment at the company or remain in its employ.

Speaking at the Ministry of Information Regular Press Briefing on Thursday, March 5, 2026, the CSA boss said the option for employees to transfer to the LTMI is voluntary and not mandatory.

He disclosed that the CSA verified one hundred ninety-one workers at the Ministry of Transport, out of which one hundred seventy-six employees were confirmed as legitimate civil servants.

He said,” The government has decided that all verified workers will keep their jobs and be reassigned within the ministry’s new regulatory structure as part of ongoing reforms”.

According to him, workers who decide not to move to the LTMI will continue serving as civil servants under the Ministry of Transport.
