Gov’t of Liberia Extends Condolences to Bereaved Family of 26-Year-Old Austin

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Government of Liberia has extended condolences to the bereaved family of twenty-six-year-old Austin Timber.

The government assured the public that it will closely monitor the investigation to ensure justice is served in accordance with the Ghanaian law.

Deputy Information Minister for Press and Public Affairs, Daniel Sando, said the Liberian Embassy in Accra is actively engaging the Ghana Police Service to obtain verified details surrounding the incident.

The minister said,” Preliminary reports indicate that Tengben was allegedly attacked after being accused of theft and was later pronounced dead at a local hospital”.

He said,” Authorities in Gnana have arrested three suspects in connection with the case, while efforts are ongoing to apprehend another individual believed to be linked to the incident”.
