GRAND CAPE MOUNT COUNTY, LIBERIA-Over one thousand, five hundred women from Liberia and neighboring Sierra Leone have benefited from a capacity-building training.

The training was conducted by the Mano River Union, with support from the African Development Bank.

The training, according to our Correspondent, is for educated women who are involved in cross-border trade in the Mano River Union Basin.

It is also aimed at providing them with the necessary skills to understand the protocols of freedom of movement, goods, including sexual and money exploitation by security personnel, among others.

The project is a three million United States Dollar Project and will run for three years.
