Pres. Boakai Urges Newly Commissioned Gov’t Officials to Commit to Nat’l Interest…

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-President Joseph Boakai has urged the newly commissioned officials of the Government of Liberia to put national interest above personal ambition.

President Boakai admonished the officials to be united, develop respect for constitutional rule, and avoid institutional rivalry.

The Liberian Leader was speaking on Monday, January 19, 2026, when he commissioned another batch of officials in Monrovia.

The Liberian Leader said,” Public service demands time and sacrifice; therefore, serve with honesty, compassion, and discipline”.

President Boakai reiterated the government’s strong commitment to lead with the highest standards of transparency and accountability.

Those commissioned were drawn from the Environmental Protection Agency, the Ministry of Mines and Energy, the Law and Reform Commission, and the National Bureau of Concession, among others.
