Liberia’s Justice Ministry to Strengthen Fight against Child Trafficking…

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-Liberia’s Justice Ministry has emphasized its resolve to strengthen the fight against child trafficking and uphold the rule of law in 2026.

The Ministry says doing so will adequately maintain the country’s peace and enhance trust in Liberia’s justice system.

Addressing the Ministry of Information’s Press Briefing on Tuesday, January 6, 2026, in Monrovia, Minister of Information Jerolinmek Piah also highlighted significant progress made in the country, especially in 2025.

He named the strengthening of the rule of law, improvement in human rights compliance, and the decentralization of the Justice System as tangible gains.

The information minister categorized 2025 as an impactful year through its deliverables on major reforms consistently aligned with the ARREST Agenda for Inclusive Development (AAID).
