Gov. of Liberia, Serbia Proclaims New Cooperative Agreements…

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Governments of Liberia and Serbia have disclosed a new set of cooperative agreements across several sectors, including education, trade, security, and sports.

The agreements were finalized during an official visit by Foreign Minister Sara Beysolow-Nyanti to Belgrade.

The visit, which came at the invitation of the Serbian Government, focused on solidifying Liberia’s participation in the upcoming EXPO 2027, to be hosted in Belgrade, and expanding the partnership between the two countries.

The two nations also agreed on their existing security cooperation, with discussions focused on enhancing information exchange and promoting peace and stability.

Both governments reaffirmed their commitment to sustained high-level dialogue to ensure the full implementation of these agreements, describing them as a foundation for shared prosperity and strengthened global partnership.

Minister Sara Beysolow-Nyanti held high-level talks with Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic and Foreign Minister Marko Djuric, as well as meeting with the Ministers of Sports and Education, and the Director of the Security Information Agency.
