Sen. Dillon Proposes Specialized Court to Address Drug-Related Crimes

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-Senator Abraham Darius Dillon is proposing a Specialized Court dedicated to the prosecution of drug-related offenses across the country.

Senator Dillon argued that the existing court system is heavily burdened with a wide range of cases, leading to significant delays in prosecuting drug offenses.

The Montserrado County Senator vowed to submit a bill at the National Legislature seeking an amendment to the law that would empower Criminal Court “D” to handle all drug-related cases exclusively.

He said,” The reform would fast-track hearings and judgments, ensuring justice and more effective deterrence against drug crimes”.
