Liberia’s Justice Ministry Officially Launches Second Circle of Responsible Citizens…

 

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Ministry of Justice has officially launched its second circle of Responsible Citizens to train students to serve as ambassadors for justice and respect for law and order.

Speaking when she performed the launching ceremony, the Acting Minister of Justice Cora Konuwa, cautioned the students to take their training seriously by following several role models tipped to tutor them.

Acting Minister Konuwa encouraged the students to be appreciative of their selections to participate in the responsible citizen program sponsored by the Ministry of Justice.

Meanwhile, the Coordinator of the responsible citizen project at the Ministry of Justice, Abigail Gbessegee, said, “The training is centered on common things that constitute violations of the law”.

Attorney Gbessegee said the students will also have the opportunity to visit several prison facilities to see for themselves their peers who have come in conflict with the law.
