MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Government of Liberia has reactivated the Open Government Partnership (OGP) a transparency and accountability framework the country signed up to in 2011.

OGP enables coordination among the Government, civil society, and international partners for effective reforms at agencies with limited financial support.

The Chairman of the Steering Committee, Deputy Information Minister for Administration, Johnny Tarkpah, told ELBC that the OGP seeks to increase the Government’s accountability and regain the support of international partners.

Minister Tarkpah said:” The Steering Committee of the OGP is currently developing the 5th Action which will run from 2025 to 2027.”
