MONROVIA, LIBERIA-Paynesville City Corporation (PCC) has launched a clean “Clean City Starts with You” campaign, focusing on effective waste disposal and city planning.

Speaking at the launch on Friday, April 5, 2024, Paynesville City Mayor, Robert Bestman, said: “The campaign jumpstarts a new model of city governance, where citizens and residents of Paynesville see cleaning their environments as a civil responsibility.”

Mayor Bestman stated that as part of the campaign, the Zoning Department of the PCC will work with residents to direct construction and other building activities.

He said with support from the Liberian Government and the Paynesville Legislative Caucus, sustained urban planning and zoning will be the hallmark of his administration.

Also speaking, the Chairman of the Paynesville Legislative Caucus, Atty. Michael Thomas reaffirmed the Caucus’ support for the Paynesville City Corporation in areas that benefit the social needs of the people.
