GRAND KRU COUNTY, LIBERIA-Concerned citizens of Grand Kru County are urging Liberians to desist from criticizing the US Government over sanctions imposed on some Liberian Government Officials.

The citizens noted that those officials sanctioned by Washington must speak for themselves.

Speaking on a local radio talk show in the county, the citizens believed it was time that officials account for their deeds.

The citizens’ reaction comes after their Senator, Albert Chie, was designated by the US State Department, alongside Senator Emmanuel Nuquay and Finance Minister Samuel Tweah.

Meanwhile, the citizens are calling for the investigation and prosecution of designated officials.
