Employees of Liberia Broadcasting System Go to Polls Today

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-Employees of the Liberia Broadcasting System Workers Union are expected to go to the polls today, Thursday, to elect a new corps of officers to steer the affairs of the Union for the next three years.

Seven persons have been qualified to contest various positions, including President, Secretary General, and Financial Secretary, among others.

Mr. Joseph Sayon and Madam Rachel Kollie are the two candidates contesting for the Presidency.

The Liberia Broadcasting System (LBS) Ad-hoc Elections Committee said all is now set for the process.

Meanwhile, the Elections Commissioner has assured employees of LBS of conducting free and fair elections.
