MARYLAND COUNTY, LIBERIA-Officers of the Liberia Drug Enforcement Agency (LDEA) in Maryland County have arrested a fifty-three-year-old man for illegal possession of narcotic drugs.
Suspect Nyan Sackor was arrested at sea near Harper with illegal substances valued over five-hundred-thousand United States Dollars.
LDEA Maryland County Commander, Joseph Tageddine, told ELBC that Sackor who is a fisherman, was arrested following a tip off from community sources that he was coming with huge quantity of drugs.
Commander Tageddine said Suspect Sackor was arrested 1am on Wednesday, December 7, 2022, with twenty parcels of hard-grade marijuana.
The Suspect is currently in the custody of the LDEA undergoing investigation in Maryland County.
