LOFA COUNTY, LIBERIA-Police in Lofa County and hunters have launched a manhunt for an unknown person who allegedly shot a fifty-six-year-old man in the County.

Dorbor Sumo was shot by the unknown man when he had gone to check on his traps in the suburb of Voinjama, in the early hours of Sunday November 20.

Mr. Sumo told Police investigators that the unknown person fled the scene, after the committing the act.

Medical reports from the Tellewonyan Hospital in the county said Borbor sumo was shot with six bullets and is currently undergoing treatment at the Health Facility.

Meanwhile, Police are encouraging traditional leaders and other citizens to aid in apprehending the unknown person.
