Pres. Weah approves Revised Regulations Governing Honorary Consuls in Foreign Service

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-President George Weah has approved the revised regulations Governing Honorary Consuls in the Liberian Foreign Service.

The Executive Mansion said the approval follows a request from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

It said the Ministry asked for the President’s approval in order to govern the appointment, nature and scope of the operations and conduct of Honorary Consuls of Liberia.

The Executive Mansion quotes President Weah as mandating the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to launch the implementation of the revised regulations.
