Police launch manhunt for alleged 44 year-old rapist in Lofa County

VOINJAMA, LOFA COUNTY, LIBERIA-Police in Voinjama, Lofa County, have launched a manhunt for a forty-four-year-old man, Saygbah Jallah, for allegedly raping a thirteen-year-old girl in the LPMC Community.

Suspect Jallah is said to have sexually abused the thirteen-year-old several times at a nearby creek, and threatened to harm her if she discloses the act to anyone.

ELBC Lofa Correspondent said:” Medical report from the Tellewoyan Hospital in the County shows that the victim was tempered with, and that she is now three months pregnant.”

Meanwhile, the police have called on residents in the area to assist them with tip-off on the whereabouts of the rape suspect.
