A 65 year-old-man undergoes investigation for allegedly murdering his son-in-law

GBARPOLU COUNTY, LIBERIA-A sixty-five-year-old man is undergoing police investigation in Gbarpolu County, in connection with the death of his son-in-law identified as Joseph Yarsiah.

The suspect, John Stewart, told police investigators that while on their farm in Gweyan’s Town, the victim went to check on his trap and his body was later discovered floating on the Maher River.

ELBC Gbarpolu County Correspondent said:” Prior to discovering the victim’s body, about one-hundred men took three days to search but could not find him.”

At the same time, a Nephew of the suspect only identified as Francis told the police that his uncle is responsible for the death of his thirty-two-year-old son in law.

Meanwhile, Police are expected to formally charged and send the suspect to Court for prosecution.
