MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Government of Liberia has made available fifty- thousand United States Dollars, for the sustainability of the Environmental Knowledge Management System.

The commitment followed a recent dialogue where stakeholders and donor partners discussed the need of sustaining the EKMS platform.

Deputy Finance minister for Budget, Tanneh Bronson, disclosed that based on the importance of the system, the need for adapting the platform was key.

Madam Bronson described the platform as vital to the dissemination of environmental information to the public, especially for research purposes.

She made the statement Wednesday at the launch of the EKMS in Monrovia.

The Deputy Finance Boss then promised that support to the EKMS Platform will be captured in the budget for next fiscal year.
