Regional Disease Surveillance System Enhancement concludes Social Mobilization Dialogue…

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Regional Disease Surveillance System Enhancement (REDISSE), with support from the World Bank, has concluded a day-long stakeholder advocacy and social mobilization dialogue in Harper, Maryland County.

The meeting was held under the auspices of the One Health Platform and partners.

It brought together stakeholders in both public and animal health sectors.

The Communication Team Lead of the One Health Platform, Oliver Jah, told ELBC that the engagement was aimed at building the capacity of people working in the animal sector, targeting a wide range of diseases.

Mr. Jah said:” The one-day event is part of a broader objective on information, shearing on how to improve disease prevention.”
