Central Bank Governor praises int’l partners…..

GBARNGA, BONG COUNTY, LIBERIA-The Executive Governor of the Central Bank of Liberia (CBL), Aloysius Tarlue, has lauded Liberia’s international partners for their longstanding support to the Bank.

Governor Tarlue named the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank among others, for the technical support, especially toward the currency reform process.

He spoke on Thursday, September 1, 2022, during the launch of a major nationwide awareness on the currency reform process in Gbarnga, Bong County.

According to him, the awareness, which is intended to educate the public about the new money, will be carried out throughout the Country.

Executive Governor Aloysius Tarlue noted that partners’ support has helped Liberia maintain Micro-economic stability.
