Liberia Immigration Service investigates Nigerian for illegal entry…

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Liberia Immigration Service (LIS) is investigating a Nigerian man identified as Kelvin Chibueze Oparah, for illegal entry into Liberia.

Mr. Oparah was recently arrested by the LIS officers at the inland checkpoint in Sanniquellie City, Nimba County.

LIS Director of Communication, Abraham Dorley, said:” The suspect, who claimed to be a licensed travel agent, was arrested with four different foreign passports.”

Mr. Dorley told ELBC that suspect Oparah has since failed to provide documents in support of his claim of being a licensed travel agent.

He faces a key charge of illegal entry.

Meanwhile, the LIS is assuring citizens of its commitment to protecting the territorial confines of Liberia.
