Monrovia, June 20, 2022 – A visiting Senior Official of the African Development Bank has reaffirmed the Bank’s Commitment to working with government in achieving Liberia’s development drive.

AfDB Director-General for West Africa Marie-Laure Akin-Olugbade made the strong commitment during a visit of the Bank’s high power delegation at the Ministry of Public Works on Monday.

The visit is part of a multi-sectoral dialogue mission to Liberia which runs from June 20 – 24.

Madam Akin-Olugbade is heading the Delegation which is in country to “put strategic guidance from the Bank’s leadership across different sectors.

While in Liberia, the team will follow up on various projects and programs financed by the African Development Bank and other donors on Agriculture Transformation, Transport Infrastructure, energy and Private Sector Development, amongst others.
