Young people, women pledge support for Pres. Weah re-election in Bong County

GBARNGA, BONG COUNTY, LIBERIA-Hundreds of young people in Bong County calling themselves first time voters have declared support for President George Weah’s re-election bid, ahead of the 2023 elections.

Their statements of support presented to State and Presidential Affairs Minister Nathaniel McGill, over the weekend at a local hotel in Gbarnga, coincided with that of some two-thousand women in the county wanting to see President Weah re-elected.

In separate remarks, Minister McGill expressed appreciation to the two groups for their commitment to support the President’s re-election.

Minister McGill also assured that the Liberian Government will keep implementing programs and projects aimed at improving the people’s lives.
