US Ambassador stresses decentralization of infrastructure dev. in Liberia

GRAND GEDEH COUNTY, LIBERIA-United States Ambassador Michael McCarthy has emphasized the need to decentralize infrastructure development across the Country.

Ambassador McCarthy said:” Spreading development brings relief and improvements in the livelihood of Liberians in the rural parts of the Country.”

He spoke on Monday, March 21, 2022, in an ELBC interview in Zwedru, Grand Gedeh County.

Ambassador McCarthy said:” Much has been said about poor infrastructure across Liberia, and places such as Zwedru must tap into the Country’s overall development programs.”

According to the US Ambassador, his visit to Grand Gedeh County has enabled him to see first, the reality of life in that part of the Country.
