Jupluken Township in Grand Kru County craves for safe drinking water

GRAND KRU COUNTY, LIBERIA-Residents of Jupluken Township in Grand Kru County have alarmed over lack of drinking water in the area.

According to ELBC Grand Kru County Correspondent, residents of the area have, over the years, faced serious challenge due to the lack of safe drinking water.

Our Correspondent quotes residents as saying the lack of safe drinking water has forced them to fetch drinking water from creeks, making them vulnerable to water borne diseases.

Our Correspondent said there are over one-hundred residents being affected by the water crisis, and residents feared a potential outbreak of diseases, if the situation remains as it is.

Meanwhile, the residents are calling on Government, local and international organizations to come to their aid by constructing hand pump in the area.
