Taskforce strategizes to rehabilitate At-Risk-Youths

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-Stakeholders on the Taskforce on the rehabilitation of At-Risk-Youths have begun strategizing plans aimed at implementing the recently endorsed framework document.

At a round table meeting on Thursday, February 25, 2022, Youth and Sports Minister Zeogar Wilson said:” The gathering focused on the operational procedure of the document, as they prepared to jump start initiatives of rehabilitating At-Risk-Youths.”

Minister Wilson who chairs the Taskforce said the full implementation of the document will heal threats posed by the many At-Risk-Youths.

As part of the discussion, the Finance Ministry is expected to shortly organize a donor fund raiser, to be led by President George Weah.

The Taskforce, including the Ministries of Justice, Labor, Gender, Finance, Public Works, the Liberia National Police, Drug Enforcement Agency and others, is chaired by the Youth and Sports Ministry.
