34 Year-old man charged for rape and forwarded to court in Bomi County

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-Police in Bomi County have charged and forwarded to court a thirty-four-year old man for allegedly raping a twelve-year-old girl.

According to ELBC Bomi County Correspondent, the incident occurred when the alleged perpetrator went to buy goods from the shop of the victim’s mother, where he convinced the minor to follow him for money.

Our Correspondent said Joshua Morgan took the victim at the back of his home, where he committed the act, threatening to kill the little girl if   she tells anyone about the incident.

Medical report shows that the twelve years old was raped by a forceful penetration.

The victim is currently undergoing treatment at the Liberian Government Hospital in Tubmanburg, Bomi County.
