Gender Minister frowns on publication sneering Liberia’s First Lady

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Gender Minister is calling on Liberians to avoid sharing a pamphlet containing what is widely perceived as unpleasant publication about Liberia’s First Lady, Clar Weah.

The pamphlet is said to have been authored by two opposition figures, Emmanuel Clarke and Isaac Van Tukpah, Chief of Office Staff to the Alternative National Congress (ANC) Political Leader, Alexander Cummings.

Minister Williametta Saydee-Tarr said:” The content of the pamphlet is not only distasteful, but also a great attack on the women of Liberia.”

She is , therefore, calling on women organizations to condemn the publication.

Minister Saydee-Tarr spoke on Tuesday, February 1, 2022, at a press conference in Monrovia.
