Education Ministry suspends some Education Authorities in Maryland County

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Ministry of Education has suspended some education authorities in Maryland County.

The suspended authorities include the County Education Officer, the Principals of Cape Palmas and John Tubman High Schools.

They were suspended for hiking school registration fees in the County.

In an ELBC interview on Monday, November 15, 2021, Acting Education Minister, Latim Da-Thong, vowed to suspend any school administrator caught in the same act.

The Acting Education Minister also warned that the Ministry will not hesitate to take similar action against private schools involved in arbitrary hike, without any justifiable reasons.
