Some employees at Independent Nat’l Human Rights Com. risk prosecution…..

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-Several employees at the Independent National Commission on Human Rights (INCHR) risk prosecution, for allegedly taking vehicles and motorbikes belonging to the Commission.

The INCHR Chairman, Cllr. Dempster Brown, said:” The employees linked to the missing bikes and vehicles were given up to last month to turn the items in, but have failed to do so.”

Cllr. Brown said employees involved could be turned over to the Liberia Anti-Corruption Commission for further prosecution, if they are found liable for the missing items.

He said his administration is also investigating other improper activities that took place just before he took office.

Cllr. Brown said the commission cannot be involved with corrupt activities, while preaching human rights issues.
