MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Public Procurement and Concession Commission (PPCC) wants procurement entities carry out early budgetary planning, ahead of the 2022 budget year.

The Commission said:” Such planning is crucial to ensuring proper revision of all concession documents presented by various government entities, to guarantee a fair and equitable use of public funds.”

Speaking on the Bumper Show Wednesday, October 2021, PPCC Executive Director Roseline Kowo said:” The move will also mitigate discrepancies in the procurement process and ensure better budgetary appropriation.”

Madam Kowo, however, said despite limited support, the commission is making significant strides to upholding its statutory mandate.

Meanwhile, the PPCC is to shortly launch a major exercise to enhance the commission’s interaction with various government institutions.
