Gov’t to provide vehicles for all County Education Officers across Liberia

MONROVIA, LIBERIA – The Ministry of Education has taken concrete steps to enhance supervision and quality of learning in Liberian schools.

It followed the disclosure that the government has made funds available for the purchase of vehicles for all County Education Officers (CEOs).

Education Minister, Ansu Sonii told this station Tuesday, September 21, 2021, that the vehicles will enhance progressive supervision of all schools across the country.

Minister Sonii thanked government for the funds, noting that it will add value to the work of the CEOs and take the education sector a step forward.

The Education Minister also disclosed plans to procure motorbikes for over one hundred District Education Officers in the country.

He said the motorbikes will help the DEOs to get to hard-to-reach areas.
