Liberian Agricultural Company saddened by the death Emmanuel Joe

MONROVIA, LIBERIA – The Management of the Liberian Agricultural Company (LAC) says it is saddened by the death of its employee, Emmanuel Joe.

 Recently, Joe died in an industrial accident at the Factory Rubber Processing Plant while carrying out a routine maintenance.

According a LAC release, issued Thursday, August 26, 2021, the management expressed sympathy to the family and described his death as a great loss to the company.

The release quotes the General Manager of the company, Vijay Maira, as saying the company will work along with the LAC Workers’ Union and all stakeholders to ensure that the fallen employee be given a befitting burial and all benefits entitled to his family.

Meanwhile, the LAC Management has assured the public of working along with the police and other government agencies for proper investigation of the incident. By (Sampson David)
