Liberia National Police reports steady drop in harmful crimes across country

Deputy Police Inspector General for Operations, Marvin Sackor, says there is a significant decreased in harmful crimes across Liberia.

Colonel Sackor said one of the harmful crimes that the Police have reduced in recent time is armed robbery.

He said the current focus of the Police currently is to keep reducing the crime rate until it reaches a considerable level.

Colonel Sackor told ELBC Tuesday that if those crimes are reduced in the country, the general crime counts will be handled massively by state security.

The Deputy Police Inspector General said though the LNP is working to protect lives and properties, there are challenges including logistical constraints that need to be addressed by the Government.
