MONROVIA, LIBERIA-Top Officials of the Public Works Ministry led by Acting Public Works Minister Ruth Coker-Collins, have led an assessment tour to the Du-River Railey Bridge under reconstruction in Lower Margibi County.

The Bridge collapsed in 2016, hampering the smooth movement of people and goods and services in the area.

Its reconstruction is a joint effort of the Liberian Government and Firestone – Liberia.

Engineers of the Jupiter Construction Company confirmed that 90 percent of work has been done on the bridge and it is expected to be dedicated later this month.

According to a release, the estimated cost of the reconstruction of the bridge is put at over US$1Million.( By V. Tarlue)
