Prez. Weah arrives to a momentous welcome in Lofa County

MONROVIA, LIBERIA – President George Weah has arrived to a momentous welcome in Lofa County at the start of the citizens’ engagement tour of the county.

The Liberian leader and entourage were welcomed to Lofa by Local Authorities and Traditional Leaders in Beyan Town, near the St. Paul River Bridge in Salayea District.

Citizens of Lofa County have long awaited President Weah’s visit to the county since the nationwide citizens’ engagement tour began in February this year.

Over the next five days, President Weah will hold town hall meetings and interact with a cross section of citizens in Lofa to get firsthand information on development challenges in that part of the country.

The Liberian leader is also expected to dedicate as well as break grounds for new government development projects in Lofa County.
