Storm destroys over twenty-six homes, leaves dozens homeless in Lofa County

LOFA COUNTY, LIBERIA-A violent storm has destroyed over twenty-six houses in Samudo Town in Quardu District, Lofa County.

According to ELBC Upper Lofa County Correspondent, the incident occurred between 4 to 5pm on Monday afternoon, May 24, 2021.

So far, no casualty has been reported but several valuable properties were damaged as a result of the storm, and dozens are made homeless.

Our Correspondent said victims of the storm are now being sheltered by family members due to the level of damaged done to their homes.

They want Government and partners come to their aid to restart their lives.
