Rain storm leaves over 300 persons homeless, damages several businesses…..

MARGIBI COUNTY, LIBERIA-Heavy storm has left over three-hundred people homeless and several businesses damaged in Margibi County.

According to ELBC Upper Margibi County Correspondent, over seventy-five houses and businesses, including facility of the Liberia Electricity Corporation, were de-roofed.

Our correspondent said:” The storm victims are seeking shelters at the homes of family members and school buildings in the area.”

They are appealing to the Government of Liberia, and humanitarian organizations to assist in rebuilding their lives.

Meanwhile, Margibi County District Three Representative, Ellen Attoh, has presented fifty bundles of zincs to the storm victims.
