Liberia’s Anti Graft Chief in Sierra Leone for Talks With Counterpart

Monrovia, Liberia – The Acting Executive Chairperson of Liberia Anti-corruption Commission is in Freetown, Sierra Leone at the invitation of the Head of that Country’s Anti-corruption Office, Francis Ben Kaifala.

In a Communication to Cllr. Kanio Bai Gbala, The Sierra Leone Anti-Graft Chief said his office is keen on strengthening ties with Liberia in the fight against corruption.

He said collaboration between the two sisterly countries in the fight against corruption is cardinal to the overall success of the war against graft in West Africa.

LACC statement said while in Sierra Leone, Cllr. Global will meet the Country’s Auditor-General, Sierra Leone Justice Ministry Officials, and Judges responsible for corruption cases.

At the end of the deliberation, a communique will be issued between the Liberia Anti-corruption Commission and their Sierra Leonean counterpart.

The LACC Boss is been accompanied by the Commission’s Chief of Prosecution Cllr. Jerry Garlawulo and the Head of Investigations Baba Mohammed Borkai.
