Liberia Tree and Trading Corporation re-commences operations Nimba following supreme court’s clearance

GBI and DORU, NIMBA, LIBERIA –  Reports from Nimba County say the Liberia Tree and Trading Corporation (LTTC), has recommenced its logging operations in Gbi and Doru District, Nimba County.

 It followed the Supreme Court’s issuance of clearance to continue operations in the County.

Gbi and Doru Administrative District Commissioner, James Karr said all is now set for the employment of residents and called on the people to cooperate with company.

Residents of the District recently took the management of LTTC to court for what they considered as the company’s failure to live up to an MOU regarding their corporate social responsibility.
